Fall Creek Falls

Fall Creek is one of the largest parks in Tennessee with lots of wildlife hiking trails.
<< This picture was taken on a hike in we took in late 2004 along a path that we normally ride horses on. this path leads to the fields and also to two ponds. There is always a few different things to see and take pictures of. From the wildflowers to the different types of leaves.
When we have a dry spell we can walk up the creek bed. We find fish and fossils in the water.
Above you find the creek high after a very heavy rain.

In the mountains we see many different rock formations that are great to look at and climb.

These were taken on the hiking trail "Oscar Blevins Loop" in October 2005 while camping in Big South Fork National Park at the Bandy Creek Campground. We took all day on this hike looking at the different rock formations and taken pictures of the different types of plants and animals. We saw three snakes on the hike and we ate lunch on a log laying across the creek. This hike was just over 4 miles. We saw a small waterfall also on this hike.

Trails & Waterfalls

For the past couple years we have spent many afternoons taken hikes around the area with the members from our church. We have taken hikes at places like Pocket Wilderness, Leggett Road, and Savage Gulf and in the backyards of our places. God's beauty is all around us so we take time and stop to smell the flowers and see what is around us. So many pictures have been taken that I had trouble deciding which ones to include in this display.

<< Laurel Falls Pocket Wilderness

This is one of our favorite places to hike and swim. We take several hikes a year here so we can take pictures of the wildflowers and the creek depending on the water levels. Pictures were taken by Ellie Pickett and myself.
